Henry Mendez, L.P.C.

Henry Mendez is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. He joined the staff as a therapist in February of 2017. Henry received his Masters of Arts in counseling, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University.

Henry’s outpatient clinical practice includes individual, marriage, and family counseling. He enjoys coming alongside clients who have a wide variety of presenting problems such as Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Codependency, Relationship and Family of Origin issues (i.e. survivors of childhood abuse, adult children of alcoholics, and other difficulties related to growing up in a dysfunctional family).

Henry is primarily a cognitive behavioral therapist but uses a variety of methods to help his clients obtain the level of mental health they desire. Henry respects his clients and their physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs. He works with them in a collaborative manner to help them achieve their goals.

In addition to his counseling practice, Henry enjoys working on DIY projects and a little country and western dancing for fun.
