Keith Wright, Ph.D.

Dr. Keith Wright has an active counseling practice specializing in individual, marriage and group therapy. In addition to treating a wide variety of psychological problems, he is interested in the scholarly integration of psychology and theology.

Dr. Wright has extensive experience in working with adults in hospital psychiatric units and in outpatient therapy.

He received his Th.M. degree in pastoral ministries from Dallas Theological Seminary and his Ph.D. degree from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary.

Dr. Wright is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Texas Psychological Association. He is licensed as a psychologist by the state of Texas.

Dr. Wright and his wife, Karen, have twin daughters and a son.

Larry Gilliam, Ed.D., Ph.D., L.P.C.

Dr. Gilliam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Bible, a Master’s Degree in Counseling, a Doctor of Education Degree in Educational Psychology, and two Ph.D.’s in related fields of Counseling.

He has more than thirty-five years of experience as a counselor and educator, and more than fifty years of experience in ministry. He has practiced in a variety of settings including churches, schools, colleges, universities, family counseling centers, clinics, and psychiatric hospitals. He is presently Chairman of the Pastoral advisory Council for the Christian Counselors of Texas.

He is a frequent speaker at conferences, retreats, seminars, churches, and professional meetings. He is known for the effective use of music, humor, and “homespun illustrations” in his presentations, he is an author, composer, musician, and host of the talk radio program, “Choices”.

Dr. Gilliam is an ordained minister, a certified teacher, a certified school counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor, a certified victim chaplain, and is approved by the Texas L.P.C. Board to supervise counselor interns.
